  • 救急救命士:
    事故・災害発生時等の危機管理業務。事故発生時の現場での救助、

    現地作業員に対する安全教育講習会の開催。
  • 看護師:
    事故・災害発生時等の緊急事態対応業務。現地作業員に対する 日常健康相談、疾病の予防指導など医務室での業務。

派遣は事前に登録された医療者の中から選ばれます。

Job Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for being a provider relations liaison between international medical assistance coordinators servicing Japanese travel insurance policyholders, and medical providers in the United States, Canada, and Central and South America. The candidate must be able to work cohesively in a culturally diverse office, frequently coordinating with globally-located service centers to deliver outstanding assistance services.


Job Duties:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Serves as liaise with medical providers to arrange medical treatment for patients, and direct medical billing to company address.
Serves as liaise with client insurance companies' representatives in Japan regarding claims adjudication, claims status, and eligibility issues.
Communicates with medical institutions and international assistance agencies professionally and with superior customer service skills both on the phone and in writing.
Builds and maintains professional working relationships with medical providers and other service providers across the United States and the Americas to create a superior service network to be utilized for client assistance purposes.
Accurately logs information in English, or other languages when applicable, on all communication, and maintain detailed and accurate records.
Works with international assistance companies in Central and South America to provide assistance for travelers in non-English speaking areas.

Job Duties:

Answers a high volume of calls according to client-specific service requirements.
Provides superior assistance to customers when travel emergencies including medical assistance, trip interruption, liability, repatriation and general customer service.
Contacts medical providers, and/or coordinates with internal/external medical teams to obtain insureds medical condition in order to determine assistance needed.
Monitors patient status and updates to traveling companions and/or family members.
Uses various language translation tools/services as necessary.
Researches, troubleshoots and resolves medical billing issues and customer complaints, taking all steps to resolve and ensure full resolution.
Logs information in Japanese and English, or other languages when applicable, on correspondences received/made and maintain detailed and accurate records.

Develop and maintain operational manuals and various forms and templates.
Obtain, analyze and report departmental data and monthly reports in a timely manner.
Serve as liaise with client insurance companies and members or medical providers regarding adjudication, billing status, and eligibility issues.
Responsible for accuracy and efficient data entry within the department
Use superior knowledge of medical and insurance terminology to complete investigations.
